There's no problem on JW4 baseband with GPS. On my device it works well, as far as I know on all JW4 roms, it's already fixed. Using JVU modem, you may be you should install (CWM or OTA) one of them for your region http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=11342772&postcount=1
Do NOT use FasterFix apk for GPS fix, it will make wrong the GPS script. If you are already installed it, firstly uninstall it and than install the GPS fix from link.

Hello to all of you .
    I got few quick questions...

In just 2 days from installing Voodoo sound app,I notice 14 logs in: /mnt/sdcard/Voodoo/logs.
Is it really needed that this app creating so many logs, and is it safe to delete that logs ?

Btw,jw4 base works just perfect ,big big thanks to creators :)

    Hi guys....

I am super happy with JW4 and darcore 4.6.1 except for the battery drain.
I am only getting a max of 7 hours off a full charge.

Previously I was using JVU which lasted around 12 hours

Does anyone have something that I could try to get longer battery life from JW4 base???
I have already wiped battery stats and performed a calibration :(

    Cheers... looking forw:)

besides the obvious try a different modem and make sure you drain the battery down as low as possible then completely recharge a couple of times...check in Settings>Privacy that Back up my data is not ticked (as long as you don't want to constantly sync with Google servers).
All things being the same (as in apps/widgets that you have running), I'd expect that you should get pretty much the same in terms of battery as you previously were.

Thanks for the replies thus far :)

Comnam90... Screen on time is the same as I would normally do...maybe 1 hour whilst on 3g or wifi.

I just un-ticked Mickeys recommendation and will test the difference.

Ill try a different modem next if all else fails. OTA has JVP, JVQ, JVR, JVS, JVT, JVU, JPG for me to choose. Is it just a matter of trying them all or is one less draining on the battery than another?
